Here are stats. I hope they organized hopefully in an easy way for you guys to reach and understand. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, call me out, or let me know.

All of these stats are based solely on the regular season. Nothing postseason is included.

Also, there is a margin for error here. I am plugging a lot of this stuff in manually (man I wish I knew how to code information from ESPN directly) so sometimes I miss type numbers. I have some sort of OCD with this stuff but not enough to check every single number, every single time I type it in. So, bear with me.

RECORD BASED ON MEDIAN SCORE PER WEEK

This is what teams’ record would be based solely on if you have a top-half scoring output of the week, and if you have a bottom-half scoring output of the week.

TEAMRANK BASED ON MEDIAN SCORE PER WEEKDIFFERENCE IN RECORD
1.Ronan McClorey9-48-5 (Third Place)
2.Tom McLaughlin8-55-8 (Seventh Place)
3.Steve Kultzow8-511-2 (First Place)
4.Matthew McGinnity7-69-4 (Second Placed)
5.Tommy Simon7-67-6 (Fourth Place)
6.Matthew Buzzi6-76-7 (Fifth Place)
7.Christopher Lobo6-75-8 (Eighth Place)
8.Jimmy Simon5-84-9 (Tenth Place)
9.Jonathan Stanko5-86-7 (Sixth Place)
10.Mike Ritz4-94-9 (Ninth Place)
Rather crazy that Tom have the unluckiest season after he won the championship last year? Rather crazy. Three of the four playoff teams are in the top four. Unfortunately this says Ritz should have finished last, and I should have been way worse than i was.

RECORD BASED ON AVERAGE SCORE PER WEEK

This is what teams’ records would look like based on if you have a score above or below the average score of the week. These records will NOT have an equal number of wins and losses, so do not be alarmed when you notice that.

TEAMRECORD BASED ON AVERAGE SCORE PER WEEKDIFFERENCE IN RECORD
1.Matthew McGinnity8-59-4 (Second Placed)
2.Tom McLaughlin7-65-8 (Seventh Place)
Ronan McClorey7-68-5 (Third Place)
Steve Kultzow7-611-2 (First Place)
Tommy Simon7-67-6 (Fourth Place)
6.Matthew Buzzi6-76-7 (Fifth Place)
7.Christopher Lobo5-85-8 (Eighth Place)
Jimmy Simon5-84-9 (Tenth Place)
Jonathan Stanko5-86-7 (Sixth Place)
10.Mike Ritz3-104-9 (Ninth Place)
McLaughlin can use this version of the standings as ammo for trash talker later. Three of the four playoff teams are the same. Steve and I were two of the luckier teams by this metric, and McLaughlin clearly the unluckiest.

9.Jimmy Simon1418.90109.156.46
10.Jonathan Stanko1373.32105.646.85
Two of the top four scoring teams are not in the playoffs. Defending champ Tom and Buzzi both left wondering how they missed out. Steve (the regular season champion) and Tommy sneak in. We can also see that while Tom scored the most points in the league, he also had the biggest boom or bust; the fact he averaged ranking fifth per week speaks to the fact he was either the best or the worst, but his bests were REALLY good.

8.Tom McLaughlin1549.42119.18
9.Jimmy Simon1596.76122.83
10.Mike Ritz1645.76126.59
We can all say that Steve improved scoring wise over the second half of the season, but he is also still remarkably lucky. Ritz had awful luck with his opponents averaging more points against him than Tom (the leading scorer in the league) averaged per game.

8.Matthew McGinnity159.336.31
9.Jonathan Stanko154.366.08
10.Michael Ritz153.997.46
Very interesting that Tommy has the third most Full Team Points Scored but he ranks sixth in points scored per week; his bench was always performing…for no reason. The average weekly rankings are all in order except for McGinnity and I flip-flopping.

QUARTERBACK POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Matthew Buzzi22.323.92
2.Steve Kultzow22.494.08
3.Ronan McClorey19.955.38
4.Tommy Simon19.275.23
5.Matthew McGinnity19.145.15
6.Tom McLaughlin18.505.62
7.Christopher Lobo17.165.85
8.Jimmy Simon16.746.46
9.Jonathan Stanko15.716.31
10.Michael Ritz14.566.92
Buzzi and Steve are WAY above the rest. They lapped the competition. The average ranking and average points per week differs greatly in the three through five spots; somehow McGinnity averaged better placement but scored less points per week.

RUNNING BACK POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Michael RItz36.654.31
2.Matthew Buzzi35.044.62
3.Ronan McClorey34.594.85
4.Christopher Lobo33.954.77
5.Jonathan Stanko32.655.23
6.Tommy Simon32.455.15
7.Matthew McGinnity32.495.08
8.Tommy McLaughlin31.605.54
9.Steve Kultzow25.486.85
10.Jimmy Simon17.638.38
Let’s be real here. The only major takeaways are from the bottom. Steve won the regular season without a strong running back game, but Jimmy went a bit too far and punted the position into oblivion. Rather impressive really. There is more of a gap between nine and ten in terms of ranking then second and eighth. Jimmy may need to rethink drafting strategy for next year.

WIDE RECEIVER POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Tom McLaughlin48.924.23
2.Matthew McGinnity46.504.31
3.Jimmy Simon44.424.46
4.Ronan McClorey43.335.38
5.Steve Kultzow42.185.00
6.Michael Ritz39.436.31
7.Tommy Simon37.506.23
8.Matthew Buzzi36.385.69
9.Jonathan Stanko36.056.38
10.Christopher Lobo43.936.38
Buzzi scoring that third fewest points per matchup but ranking two spots higher than he should is interesting. The top three all fit their marks. Steve also averaging the fifth most points and ranking fifth makes 100% sense. It actually fits.

TIGHT END POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Jimmy Simon12.204.00
2.Ronan McClorey12.173.92
3.Steve Kultzow11.305.31
4.Tommy Simon10.654.62
5.Tom McLaughlin10.125.48
6.Michael Ritz8.285.69
7.Jonathan Stanko8.046.23
8.Matthew Buzzi7.625.85
9.Christopher Lobo6.386.46
10.Matthew McGinnity5.907.15
Jimmy scored the most points per week from the tight end position, but Ronan averaged ranking the best. Half the league averaged double digits, and half did not; three of the four playoff teams are among those five. There are a couple other flipper-flopper spots between points scored and average ranking.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Matthew Buzzi11.085.15
2.Jimmy Simon10.004.23
3.Mike Ritz9.924.62
4.Christopher Lobo9.154.92
5.Matthew McGinnity7.005.08
6.Tommy Simon7.005.69
7.Steve Kultzow6.775.62
8.Ronan McClorey6.545.59
9.Tom McLaughlin6.466.08
10.Jonathan Stanko5.856.00
Matthew Buzzi lives by the boom or bust defense. The Dallas Cowboys score 30 points or score negative points. Buzzi average rank of 5.15 is actually fifth best. It is interesting that three of the lower ranked teams had best defensive rosters. Also crazy that McGinnity and Tommy Simon tied with their defenses averaging 7.0 points exactly…each.

KICKER POINTS SCORED

TEAMAVERAGE PER WEEK (Sorted By)AVERAGE WEEKLY RANKING
1.Tom McLaughlin8.924.38
2.Steve Kultzow8.695.15
3.Matthew McGinnity8.384.77
4.Christopher Lobo7.925.31
5.Tommy Simon7.925.38
6.Jimmy Simon7.695.23

8.Ronan McClorey7.385.00
9.Jonathan Stanko7.315.31
10.Michael Ritz5.926.08
Again, another crazy tie in the average of points. Both Lobo and T-Si with 7.92 points. Lots of variance with this position…makes sense because people were swapping out kickers all the time. The only team that didn’t average at least seven points from the kicker was Ritz.
