I work in the control room of Barstool Sports. It is the place in headquarters that gets passed over during every tour with a quick phrase of “That’s the control room.”

There are six of us in this room so we spend a lot of time together in a confined space. Team camaraderie is key. Have to keep the moral high. We need to all get along during the day and encourage each other during the long nights. If the six of us are able to communicate without speaking, then things are going swimmingly.

So what better way to try and build this up team than to bring in gambling? Barstool Sports is a gambling company, right? Have to embrace it!

So in an effort to protect anonymity, I am not going to be listing off anyone’s names. The will be Person 1 (P1), Person (P2), etc. Only I shall be named outright.

So the control room parlay. The rules are simple.

  • Each person picks out bet they like. It can be a prop, moneyline, over/under, spread, etc.
  • The game in question must take place on Sunday or Monday
  • You may not pick the same bet as the same person
    • For example. if someone selected KC -7.5 vs. Las Vegas, then another person can not have the same pick
    • Putting in plainly. the parlay must always have six legs.
  • We use the Barstool Sportsbook. Duh.
  • We all root for it to win. (This is loosely followed at times).

If you have no gambled before, it is fun. It is what Barstool built its gambling streams off of. The Control Room Parlay is meant to get us all on the same team…but right now that team is not winning. Below are the results on a week-by-week basis and also on a per person basis. Also the rough odds for what the odds where for the parlay.

I will be writing up a little blog on the control room parlay when it eventually comes to fruition later in the week.

Remember, please bet safely and responsibly…on the Barstool Sportsbook.

The Mandalorian Chapter 18 (S3E2) Reaction | The Mines Of Mandalore

This is the shit I love. Chapter 18 of The Mandalorian is fantastic television and excellent Star Wars. Plenty of surprises, a bit of exposition, cool visuals and unexplained expansion of lore and stakes; all of these things make The Mines Of Mandalore a great episode of television. From the start of the episode we…
