The plot for Jurassic World: Dominion is kept under wraps…so I will post this.

Yes, this is all true.

First thing right off the bat, this first full trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) is not bad. Its biggest positive attribute thus far: it does have the genetically modified clone girl as a focal point. That anchor of a character that weighed down Jurassic World: Forbidden Kingdom (2018) and made it one of the biggest disappointments of 2018.

The opening 30-40 seconds of this trailer play out like a depressing western movie. Chris Pratt, returning as Owen Grady, is the gruff cowboy who doesn’t want to be part of a world he doesn’t recognize. He wants to live with the beasts and not be a part of what society wants done to them. Well that is at least the vibe I am getting.

Chris Pratt looking all handsome and shit.

Turns out that Grady, the genetic clone girl who stinks, and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) are watching over Blue, the velociraptor, and her new child alone isolated in the woods. They are trying to keep the pair of them safe, but the voice over is looming a shadow over Grady’s ethos by saying dinosaurs and humans can not co-exist. The visual of the giant sea monster swallowing an entire huge ass boat would seem to hint that such a fear is true.

Who can save the world from an ecological disaster? Only Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum)! These three heroes are back to save the day and possibly save the franchise? All three of these women have aged like fine wine., Like beautiful, fine, wine. They bring in the classic Jurassic Park music and also the characters reintroduce one-another. Just for those who don’t remember.

Around the 90 second mark of the trailer we see Claire Dearing in a bit of trouble being hunted by some sort of raptor that has claws like Wolverine. She is hiding from this beast and in a lot of trouble with Owen and a new character who is coming to the aids of the hero.

That is a big ass beak.

HEY! IAN SAID “DOMINION”! HE SAID THE NAME OF THE MOVIE!

After the halfway point of the trailer we get out of the forest and the wilderness and into some city that looks like some place in Spain. Not sure if this adventure is going international. but I would bet money it is because we see the heroes in an arial vehicle get annihilated.

Now that I am typing this out, the golden colors surrounding Alan and Ellie when they see each other again is very similar to the color tone of where Owen and co. are running away from raptors and being cool on motor cycles.

It appears there will be a fight on a frozen damn? It is going to involve broken ice and some drama.

I am very curious about what these flying creatures are.

The last minute of this trailer is a monster montage, which is exactly what we want as the audience. Let’s get these monsters taking down airplanes, trucks, motorcycles, cages and definitely bodies as well. In these final moments we get Chris Pratt looking cool, but not as cool as Sattler pulling off the sunglasses just like Grant did in the original Jurassic Park (1993).

Also, we have the return of a legend.

Hope that he spays the gunk!!!

The command of “Don’t Move.” is not going to work on movie fans because people will be flocking to the theaters to see Jurassic World: Dominion on June 10, 2022.

Ranking NBR’s Top Movies From 2014

NBR stands for the National Board of Review and it was established in 1909. Every year they pick roughly 10 movies that they deem to be the best of the year, and they name one movie of the year. It is a bucket list accomplishment for me to eventually conclude every year’s list in full. […]
