So for some reason in week seven there was no rhyme or reason to my picks. There are three avenues where I make selections, and in each one I went over .500, but with different picks in each. Why? I have no clue. A weak slate on paper and six teams on a bay maybe subconsciously affected me? I have no idea. This is a pep talk to myself – be more consistent and stick to your gut.
Last week my mortal lock got boned. 2.5 points…that extra half a point fucked me. It was only a matter of when I wrote the blog and took the line. The idea of a mortal lock is to always to be right, so being .500 is not ideal.
