Oh I am so ready. The House Of Gucci, based off this trailer, looks sleek, witty, teasing and enthralling. Director Ridley Scott is at the helm of a massive cast, led prominently by Lady Gaga in her post A Star Is Born (2018) buzz and Adam Driver being his steady fantastic self.

Jared Leto looks unrecognizable as Paolo Gucci and its plausible that Jeremy Irons kept all of his attire from Watchmen (2019) to play Rodolfo Gucci. Salma Hayek fits into this world just with her aura and Al Pacino is Hollywood Elite.

Looking at the trailer, the change in the color pallet at the one-minute mark to the dark grey followed by the grey exterior of Paolo talking with Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) has me tingling inside. Scott is going to play with our eyes and I am ready to be dazzled.

A benefit for your boy is that I do not know a lot about the Gucci story, and I am going to stay in the dark. I want this movie to engulf me in the fashion world that which I know less than nothing about.

One for sure fire thing I would be willing to bet my life on is that House Of Gucci will be nominated for Best Costume Design. If it isn’t, then someone has failed.

Can we also shout this from the rooftops as well? Ridley Scott has two phenomenal movies coming out in the same year. This and The Last Duel (2021). Someone pinch me.

House Of Gucci is expected to be released around Thanksgiving, November 24, 2021.
