  • The Blair Witch Project is excellent. It is the golden example of found footage movies. Hands down, the best of the bunch. Even upon rewatch there is still so much dread and despair oozing out of every scene.
  • The biggest thing I noticed in rewatching is how well they softly implant the terrible things that happen in the woods. The kids disappearing, the hanging out in the corner. Those first 15 minutes set up all the scares.
  • To have only these three actors take part on this movie, I really want to know how many takes each shot took. Was it one-take wonders with actual frustration?
  • The forest in Blair Witch is so Northeast that it hurts. Nostalgia for me.
  • May need to do a list of any found footage movies I have seen and rank them.
  • The Blair Witch Project is a must see for an horror movie fan.
