Today we were blessed with a preview teaser. We are back with Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and his new partnership with Chani (Zendaya) as they lead rebellion agains those who have conspired against House Atreides. Paul is going to be torn in two different directions; his sense of duty to his family and his new affection for Chani. Overcasting the tough decisions in front of Paul are his visions of the future where he can see catastrophic destruction and potential death.
So what do we see in this trailer? We see a Fremen clad person planting a mechanical device called a Thumper into the sand. It emits a pulse and calls upon the sandworms. This is referenced directly when Paul comes face-to-face with a Sandworm near the end the first film. If you know you know, and for those who don’t, Paul is going to get a lot of face time with the Sandworms…
The trailer the thumper is placed and the Fremen climbs up hill. After that there are pulsating snippets edited to the beat that feature some of the most prominent characters. We see Paul, Chani, Lady Jessica Atreides (Rebecca Ferguson), Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh), Stilgar (Javier Bardem), Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin) Glossu Rabba Harkonnen (Bautista) as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen Austin Butler.
Dune: Part Two‘s full trailer is set to premiere at 11:59 AM EST.
Dune: Part Two comes to theaters on November 3, 2023.
