Now is time for the disclaimer that I note every time I make a list like this. These lists of my favorites, the “best”, my most disappointing, the “worst” are all subjective, and they are only from the movies I have seen. I have watched over 250 movies last year, but not all from the 2022 calendar year. It is a delicate thing to blend wanting to catch up on old classics and wanting to stay current.
