Watching The Oscars is an exhausting experience. So many thoughts. Just so many.

But how did I do on my predictions?

In the end…I went 16 for 23.

ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE

My Nominations

  • Javier Bardem – “Being The Ricardos”
  • Benedict Cumberbatch – “The Power Of The Dog”
  • Andrew Garfield – “tick, tick…BOOM!”
  • Will Smith – “King Richard”
  • Denzel Washington – “The Tragedy Of Macbeth”

Who Won: Will Smith – “King Richard”

WE ARE ALL FREAKING OUT BECAUSE WHAT HE IS GOING TO SAY???

It is happening. It is happening.

“”Richard Williams as a fierce defender of his family.”Will Smith’s First Words of His Acceptance Speech

ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE

My Nominations

  • Ciarán Hinds – “Belfast”
  • Troy Kotsur – “Coda”
  • Jesse Plemons – “The Power Of The Dog”
  • J.K. Simmons – “Being The Ricardos”
  • Kodi Smit-McPhee – “The Power Of The Dog”

Who Won: Troy Kotsur – “CODA”

He won and rightfully so. His speech was incredible, and it was so sweet. The story about his father becoming paralyzed and not being able to sign…I mean tears all the way around. His speech is for sure a highlight, if not the major highlight of the night.

ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE

My Nominations

  • Jessica Chastain – “The Eyes Of Tammy Faye”
  • Olivia Coleman – “The Lost Daughter”
  • Penélope Cruz – “Parallel Mothers”
  • Nicole Kidman – “Being The Ricardos”
  • Kristen Stewart – “Spencer”

Who Won: Jessica Chastain – “The Eyes Of Tammy Faye”

I took my shot with Olivia Coleman winning here in a long shot. Not surprised by the result at all. Chastain campaigned her ass off and build up steam just the right way. Also this is no shots on Chastain because she very very very good in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye.

Who Should Win: Kristen Stewart – “Spencer”

I have flip-flopped on this category a lot as well, and I still can’t land on what I want too. I have struggled with Being The Ricardos in the weeks after I have seen it, and my mind keeps wandering to the silent acting of Spencer. The horror movie performance wrapped in a drama sticks with you like glue.

  • Jessie Buckley – “The Lost Daughter”
  • Ariana DeBose – “West Side Story”
  • Judi Dench – “Belfast”
  • Kirsten Dunst – “The Power Of The Dog”

The Mandalorian Chapter 22 (S3E6) Reaction | Guns For Hire

I am really sorry to say that The Mandalorian has turned into Halo for me. Season three has been a slog for me and I am sad to report that it has been over a month since I have watched an episode of Din DJarin and Grogu traversing the universe. And the saddest part? I…

A Taylor Swift Concert, Or 1 Million Dollars? Easy Answer.

Call me crazy. Call me an idiot. Call me moronic. You can call me whatever you want, but most importantly, call me a Swiftie. Last week John Rich put out this hypothetical tweet out there talking about the price of reselling Taylor Swift tickets. I immediately replied saying that the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert…
