If I hear the word shrimp one more time I am going to die.

THOUGHTS AFTER WEEK FOUR

  • Starting off with rose ceremony
    • Clayton interrupting the arguing is very funny. He is right that they need their time to talk so I like that. He acknowledging the alone time.
    • He is pulling Sha-Nay-Nay and Elizabeth for a quick conversation before the cocktail party
      • This has to be so awkward for Clayton. Would he like handling this with both of them?
      • Elizabeth looks great in that dress
      • Clayton hates all of this. He is stepping aside.
      • Elizabeth brings a great point that once she leaves Sha-Nay-Nay will have nothing to talk about.
    • What are those shrimp wrapped in that Sha-Nay-Nay is grabbing? I have no idea.
    • The fact that shrimp-gate being a think is the worst
    • Genevieve is coming out hard on Sha-Nay-Nay! She is raising great points. Mainly because it is just directed at the worst person.
    • Nobody gives a flying fuckkkkkkkkkk about the god damn shrimp….and that includes the audience.
    • There is no cocktail party. And that is not a shocker at all. Frankly, deserves to be that way.
    • Little surprised that Jill and Serene both made it
    • I am shocked that Sha-Nay-Nay is staying.
      • All Clayton wants to do is fuck her. He is thinking with the wrong head.
      • Elizabeth has a universal approval rating now. She can go on BIP or become bachelorette no time.
  • Jesse Palmer lets everyone know that they are travelling and the first stop is Houston Texas.
  • Gabby with a classic “Houston we have a problem” line regarding the drama
  • Lyndsey gets to go to her home town which is really nice
  • That was such a bad walk-in by Clayton into his hotel room
  • Clayton is VERY VERY surprised to see Clarence. Clayton is HYPED!
    • Clarence is trying to do the emotional guys talk; Clayton is wondering if the girls are happy with who he picked…fun fact…THEY ARE NOT CLAYTON.
  • RACHEL GETS THE ONE-ON-ONE. We like Rachel in this house so we are happy.
    • So they are going to be getting a little dirty
    • It is a horse riding one-on-one date. Ash is a good name.
    • “Is everything you do hot?” – That is the most open flirting he had with anyone.
    • WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
      • Like they can not be just random people. This is just so awkward.
      • What questions are they asking if they have just met!!??
        • This is so unnatural. JUST SO UNNATURAL.
    • RACHEL wants a lot of kids.
    • I do like how they did the classic guys by the grill and girls having their girl talk
    • “I don’t even know your last name.” – That is some honesty.
    • Their kiss was very very passionate. Very passionate.
  • My girlfriend is REALLY REALLY not liking this episode. She really does not like Clayton at all.
  • Who will be the last one read off the group date card? Of course it is Sha-Nay-Nay
  • Serene was not on the group date card so now she is getting a one-on-one.
  • “OH GOOD, HE IS NOT WEARING A FUCKING HOODY” – Emma
  • Why is Clayton looks so concerned?
    • Oh god what a lead in to a “how are you here…” stupid line
      • EMMA REALLY HATED THIS.
      • Rachel is always believing in herself and her past relationships were unsupportive.
        • Clayton saying he would be supportive of the job Rachel has is really important.
    • Clayton and Rachel do have a good connection. I get it.
    • These country boy bands are cute, and according to a singer I live with, they say they sound really good.
      • As they said on Cutting Stems, these are the country Jonas brothers.
  • I simply do not think that Sha-Nay-Nay can hear them through the wall.
    • Her waking up is so staged. Her listening through the wall just doesn’t seem to work at all.
  • Football stadium date…
    • DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN YOU SAID OAKLAND RAIDERS IN THE PREMIERE!!????
    • Marlena is going to absolutely dominate this football.
    • Good god the product placement!!! What car is this that they are promoting.
    • Of course Sha-Nay-Nay is cooking Shrimp.
    • How many times did Clayton need to go over the Houston Texans players names.
    • So here is the football and the stipulation…well it is tackle football and the winners come out with extra time.
      • I am surprised it is actually tackle football
    • DO THE TEAM NAMES NEED TO BE SHRIMP THEMED
    • MARLENA WITH THE LINE OF THE EPISODE
      • “I know I am an Olympian. So throw the ball to me.”
    • Jesse Palmer in his natural position now announcing the football game
    • I want to play for Marlena!! – “There are going to weaves on the ground”
    • I like how they have their names on their helmets. Helps the people watching from home.
    • This is the quickest game of all time.
    • Sierra with the touchdown!!! That was a huge surprise.
    • Marlena is the clear MVP of this game.
  • Clayton really did enjoy watching them play
  • So the girls go back into the hotel room and Jill yelling “Surprise bitches, we lost.” was great
  • Night portion of group date
    • Why is the wound on Teddy not covered?
      • Clayton pointed it out!!
    • Again Teddy is worried about the other girls…
      • Bringing her childhood traumas into it
    • This episode just has too much Sha-Nay-Nay shit
    • UGHHHHH SHA-NAY-NAY is going to interrupt the group date.
    • Sierra brining this up Sha-Nay-Nay is digging her own grave
    • Everyone is talking bad on Sha-Nay-Nay and Clayton is just fucking tired of hearing about it
    • Sha-Nay-Nay can’t make up her mind…she is fighting for Clayton…or is she just going to have fun and ruin a group date?
    • Clayton and Sha-Nay-Nay are going to make out really hard right now
    • I fucking hate Sha-Nay-Nay

POWER RANKINGS AFTER WEEK FOUR

15. Shanae (Sha-Nay-Nay)

(Last Week 18)

If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

14. Teddi

(Last Week 14)

Teddi again brings up the fact she had a hard week and worked it into childhood trauma. It was a major stretch.

13. Lyndsey W.

(Last Week 13)

Not getting any individual time with Clayton when in your actual home town of Houston can’t do well for her confidence.

12. Serene

(Last Week 15)

So Serene (I had her name spelled wrong last week, whoops) is getting a one-on-one. That has got to be kind of a shocker.

11. Mara

(Last Week 9)

After rising the ranks a little bit after her debut, Mara has not doing anything to stand out since combatting with Cassidy.

10. Genevieve

(Last Week 16)

Genevieve has grown some courage and we heard more from her this episode than all prior. The one-on-one next week is going to be so petty.

9. Sierra

(Last Week 5)

Unfortunately Sierra’s make-up now seems to complaining about Sha-Nay-Nay. She needs to focus on herself more.

8. Hunter

(Last Week 11)

We are getting to know a bit more of Hunter, and I think I am beginning to like her more.

7. Jill

(Last Week 10)

“Surprise bitches, we lost.” may be the best line of this entire season. She is good for the one-liners.

6. Marlena

(Last Week 12)

By far the biggest riser for me this week. She was in her natural element with football and competition.

5. Gabby

(Last Week 6)

Gabby has somehow been involved with the drama but not directly called out. I think she is seemingly too sweet for anyone to assume she is possibly in the drama.

4. Eliza

(Last Week 4)

She did nothing of consequence this episode, and that means she didn’t mess anything up.

3. Rachel

(Last Week 7)

Their one-on-one date was very, very strange with the food with random family, but their physical chemistry was sky-high.

2. Sarah

(Last Week 3)

I remember on shot of Sarah and she looked gorgeous. I get the sense that they are showing Sara a decent amount in background shots to remind her of us.

1. Susie

(Last Week 1)

Susie, I love you, but where have you been the past couple weeks? You invited Sha-Nay-Nay to talk it out, to which she balked, but it was an olive brnach.

The next episode of The Bachelor airs on Monday, February 7th at 8 PM ET on ABC.

Reflection On “The Big Picture” 1990s Summer Blockbuster Draft
