This movie trailer FUCKS! Holy shit what an awesome, bloody, scary and adrenaline pumping trailer.
Halloween Kills is a DIRECT sequel to the 2018 reboot-sequel, Halloween. Not many people expected the reinsertion and rewriting of Laurie Strode’s story to capture audiences the way it did, but now this sequel is highly anticipated and ready to deliver its gory satisfaction.
Halloween Kills takes place literally right after the conclusion of its predecessor, and there is going to be very little build up to the violence it would appear. Michael Myers walking out the depths of hell in the burning home that belongs to his most coveted kill sets the tone for this trailer and the movie as a hole.
There is going to be a lot a killing. A lot of it.
We have an impalement, a clobbering and a chainsaw facial all in the first 45 seconds of this trailer. Myers is out for blood in innovative ways.
The tinge of the music and theme song at the one minute mark of the trailer brings back the chills of the franchise. The suburbs are not safe. The killing of the family with the knife and lightbulb has extra emphasis because it really looks like Myers goes in for some overkill.
The demeanor of Karen (Judy Greer) and Allyson (Andi Matichak) is predatory in the trailer of Halloween Kills, but when you are attacking up the food chain, then things can get dicey.
It appears from this trailer that the neighborhood will be revolting a bit as well; this theme was far more prevalent in the book of Halloween rather than the movie.
You can’t kill off Jamie Lee Curtis, right? You can’t kill off Laurie Strode. Right?
Halloween Kills arrives in theaters to frighten us all on October 15, 2021.
