Release Date: December 10, 2020
Streaming: HBO Max

  • Sure, Meryl Streep is good…but she is not the best part of this movie. Candice Bergen EATS UP THE SCREEEEENNN every time she is on. She is a miserable character and must be awful to hang out with, but damn she gives a fantastic performance.
  • Credit to Deborah Eisenberg for the script and Steven Soderbergh for matching its mood. For a movie that is basically in one setting, it does not get boring.
  • I did not expect what happened to Alice (Meryl Streep) at the end of Let Them All Talk. It was a sad realization, but it made sense for the story and did but a somber boy on it all.
  • At the time I watched this, it was the second straight movie I saw that surpassed my expectations which made me a happy man.
