Oh A24… take my heart and soul for it is yours.

This looks like a dark metal version of Midsommar (2019) infused with the upcoming nature eeriness of Antlers (2020).

Writer and director David Lowery is at the helm of putting a new twist on the Sir Gawain and The Green Knight tale from Arthurian times.

Personally won’t be surprised if there is a far more sinister twist on the legend than the literary ending. I anticipate more heartbreak, blood and fantastical terror.

The movie stars Dev Patel, Alicia Vikander and Joel Edgerton.

The Green Knight is set for release on May 29, 2020.
