This blog post is selfish. 100%. But just because it’s selfish doesn’t mean it isn’t true.

I have posted something on this silly place for 730 straight days, and I Have always managed time to write something unique each of those days.

However, today is the day where I have reached the end of the road. It’s currently 5:42 AM in Chicago and I have a 6 AM call time downstairs in the hotel lobby to head over to the office. Why such an early call time?

Barstool is having a massive Mini Golf Open Championship in its Chicago office. There is a full 18-hole mini golf course built in the Chicago HQ and we are doing a two-day, four round tournament that will eventually have a winner crowned on Thursday evening.

There are 34 golfers combined into eight groups. We are doing three rounds today, Wednesday, April 10th, followed by the championship round on Thursday.

It is going to be madness. Personal guarantee.

I have been working on the graphics and scoring system for this tournament for a long time. It is a google sheets monstrosity and today is the day it hopefully works.
