- So here is a brief recap of episode one. What I remember.
- Master Chief and company are still kicking ass. The team has taken out their inhibitor chips.
- The episode begins on this planet where the UNSC is meant to transport people to safety but the planet begins getting blown up and the Covenant was already there on the planet.
- They let Master Chief and another soldier survive when they could have killed them.
- There is a new head honcho guy who is above Admiral Jacobs.
- This new guy is great with the PR spin guy. A politician.He doesn’t heed Master Chief’s warnings.
- Master Chief goes to the underworld for a therapy session and also runs in Admiral Margaret Parangosky who gives him a kinda secret mission to find the truth.
- We run into Soren again who is deadfast set on finding Dr. Catherine Halsey.
- His ambition betrays him as he is tricked by an undercover officer. He is arrested for his piracy career.
- We had no Catherine Hasley, and there was little Kwan. Let’s hope the Kwan part stays the same.
- We are beginning with Catherine Halsey in some eden-esq building getting fed
- Much blonder hair. Right?
- What sort of place is this? What room are they talking about?
- The idea of room, hallway, doors…this is about the concept of fate or something right?
- What man told this random young lady not to look behind the doors?
- This young lady is going to die. Her nose is bleeding. She is going to perish. She spoke too much.
- Halsey is trapped in some sort of purgatory place.
- Riz is not going to be putting that chip back in her neck even if it would help with her pain.
- Fuckkkk, Master Chief saw Makee on Sanctuary.
- I guess Kai shot her and thinks he killed her?
- Turns out that Cobalt did not return from the mission they were sent on. That’s not good.
- Looks like Master Chief and the squad are going on a rescue/discovery mission
- What is this scanner thing? A chase scene
- Oh, that means that Kwan is being scanned. Or at least so it would appear.
- God, here is hoping that they have drastically improved her character.
- It would appear that Kwan has been tagged with something?
- She is endentered to the Spiffs
- Classic escaping through the disposals. Escaping through the trash.
- Well, she got the tracker out. Good for her.
- Kawn gets out guy to die going into space, but then she runs away from this guy?
- Why not lure him into a trap as well?
- Oh, well, she killed him with the tracker thing.
- I guess there is a personal trainer for Riz and the Spartans. That is nice.
- Trainer telling Riz about a different life…one that doesn;t matter according to Riz.
- This trainer guy used to be a Spartan.
- Master Chief is now meeting with Ackerson demanding to be cleared for action.
- Ackerson is head of the ONI, and the ONI runs the show.
- Ackerson is saying that Perez (the soldier Master Chief saved) can’t validate the story on Sanctuary
- Ackerson saying that Master Chief is just a guy in the suit…doesn’t really matter who it is.
- I think that this is like Death Race.
- Laera (Soren’s wife/partner?) wants to go and find her man
- Kwan is on the same planet as Soren.
- She speaks with kessler, Soren’s son, and Kessler doesn’t like being told Soren isn’t coming home.
- Another Riz training exercise.
- Riz is in a lot of pain.
- Training session for the whole team would appear. In escape tactics?
- We get resounding music of Riz making a jump…but not being a hold on.
- Ouch. Holy shit out. Fucking out man.
- It would appear that Master Chief is dead set on finding team Cobalt.
- We are back to Halsey and this game.
- Again, asking questions.
- Was Halsey captured by someone that we just don’t know?
- Riz is meeting with someone who will be able to save her…
- Oh yes, this trainer is blind. That was mentioned earlier but I forgot.
- It would appear that Kai is meeting with Ackerson. This is in secret. How will Kai approach this?
- Kai says the only things she worries about with John is his ability to make the past, the past.
- Ackerson saying his door is always open to Kai. This is never good.
- Master Chief is giving Perez a visit to ask why she didn’t tell the truth to Ackerson.
- It would appear that he has been invited to dinner.
- This medical doctor, shaman, is healing Riz. It is a little strange. Is it magical? Is it mental?
- How exactly is this happening?
- The cut from Riz being healed and having her prayers answers to Master Chief waiting while the spanish family is saying prayer before dinner.
- How exactly is this happening?
- The brother of Perez asking Master Chief what his Kill-Death ratio is in a game called “Spartan Attack” is hilarious.
- Ah, now he puts it together. A Spartan is in their midst.
- Perez didn’t tell Ackerson because she couldn’t believe it herself. She couldn’t believe what she went through. She doesn’t want to be honored for surviving.
- Perez did say that she heard something among all the interference.
- The Master Chief is not giving a bunch of good advice. The pain doesn’t get better, it just gets further away.
- Well Ackerson is the mysterious man who is holding Halsey.
- That was a bit of an underwhelming reveal. Admittedly, I did not totally see this coming.
- So where the fuck is Halsey?
- The pomegranate story proves that Ackerson knows people and has knowledge.
- Oh, well now the tree is on fire.
- It is some sort of VR prison.
- Halsey asks about Cortana and John.
- Still don’t know why this episode is called “Sword”
- Ah, it would appear that Ackerson has part of the artifact.
- Master Chief is now looking into Cobalt.
- There are no flight plans.
- Ackerson is using Cortana.
- Cortana is supplying information about Halsey.
- What is a 97% probability? What is happening?
- This does not seem good. What is it they are talking about.
- Covenant control?
- Cortana appears to know that this is the last visit for Ackerson.
- This was a nice bit of intrigue. I like this.
- Cobalt is on Reach.
- We are going to Reach. Halo Reach. That is a video game. Huzzah.
- Master Chief is heading to the planet where Cobalt is.
- “What exactly is the mission”
- “The Covenant is on Reach”
- Now we know what it’s called Sword. Sword Base is on Reach.
- We are now on Reach and we have some very sad looking Marines who are about to be killed by Covenant. No doubt.
- Going into a dark hallway is never a good sign. Always a bad sign.
- This leader is just sending them there to die.
- Ah, nice, we have badass villains.
- We are now on Reach and we have some very sad looking Marines who are about to be killed by Covenant. No doubt.
- OH FUCK OFF here is Makee.
- We are due for a Master Chief and Makee reuniting scene.
- What is this thing that Makee is looking at? It is humming very powerfully.
- Is it another part of the artifact?
- I gotta say, for a second episode without a ton of action, it again has kept my attention. Thus far I am very optimistic about season two.
- AGAIN, LITTLE TO NO KWAN!
