QUICK THOUGHTS ON EPISODE

  • I wasn’t able to finish the premiere episode till this past weekend. Super Bowl week in Las Vegas. Not a lot of time to see Joey be dashing and Sydney bee a fucking idiot. Everyone has seen the episode by now, but with that being said, I did take some stream of consciousness thoughts while I had the episode on, so if you want those, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. For fair warning, there are probably a fuck ton of typos.

No. 15
Sydney

(Last Week #18)

She is a whiny bitch. Stirring up shit because you don’t like someone. When multiple people are coming out saying that it isn’t bullying, then you have to know you are wrong.

Lea

(Last Week 10)

Guilty by association chatting with Sydney on the couch and seeming to agree with her on everything. I also don’t think she brough anything to this week.

Jess

(Last Week 16)

Her annoyance has dissipated since week one, but she still has zero shot to advance far in this competition.

Madina

(Last Week 14)

I have to respect the fact she didn’t say Maria’s name when talking to Joey. But still, not a lot to love.

Allison

(Last Week 9)

Allison has done nothing wrong, but she also hasn’t done anything to stand out either. Once her sister left, she took a backseat to the drama. But with that being said, you have to make sure Joey remembers who you are.

Kelsey T.

(Last Week 15)

Kelsey seems like a great hang. Not sure how she connects with Joey, but I think her and I would like to be friends. Also, her being an actress hasn’t gotten brought up at all like Greg did during Katie Thurston’s season

(Last Week 7)

Edwina is speaking on behalf of Maria, and I wish she would say those things out loud to the group and to Joey.

(Last Week 13)

She has stayed on the backburner, but I think she is going to erupt onto the scene for two strong weeks.

Lexi

(Last Week 11)

While I didn’t love the kiss being a talent, one has to respect the gusto. Joey also finds her very attractive, and part of that is her confidence. She has a quiet one.

Katelyn

(Last Week 12)

Katelyn is different the rest when it comes to her interests, but she owns it like a nice letterman jacket. I think her less vocal approach is appealing to Joey because Katelyn never seems to force an issue.

Jenn

(Last Week 6)

The one-on-one date was a smash hit. Joey really liked kissing her which is always a plus. Her story about her dad was sad, and I think she has some staying power.

Maria

(Last Week 2)

I still like Maria, but the drama around her is beginning to drag her down. I hope she comes out of the two-on-one date next week. I hope she knocks Sydney out (and I only mean that somewhat figuratively).

Rachel

(Last Week 8)

Rachel seems like a genuine nice person. Her smile is welcoming, she is beautiful but never flashy with her beauty. Something about her makes her the perfect woman to introduce to a family.

Kelsey A.

(Last Week 4)

The “it” factor. Kelsey has it. She has the not stereotypical beauty for the show (like Rachel) and her personality is starting to shine through. Kelsey has deep final run in her.

Daisy

(Last Week 1)

This episode didn’t have a ton of Daisy, but that’s because she isn’t in the drama. But when we do see her, she still steals the show. Her baby voice and jokes worked great on the group date. Daisy is still the best.

This week we say goodbye to Evalin, Starr, Charissa.

STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS THOUGHTS.

  • Still sticking with the foreshadowing beginning.
  • I have heard before watching that Sydney is the worst. 
  • Mrs. Right Date – Group Date
    • Joey looks really tan or the lighting is bad.
    • This state doesn’t look all that impressive
    • I didn’t see Golden Bachelor so I don’t have any input on them
      • The ASKN ladies
    • Oh fuck off Sydney with the Pageant thing. I don’t like the pageants
    • Do the people in attendance need to sign NDAs?
    • Joey doesn’t seem to get to talk to the ladies a lot.
    • Joey with the “not the case” about his penis working
    • Sydney admitted to faking orgasm 
    • Kelsey is adorably awkward
    • Lexi looked great in whatever she was wearing at the talent show
    • AHHHH CHEERLEADING IS A NO GO SYDNEY. I HATE IT! OMG I HATE 
    • Lexi the world’s best kisser bit is really tough.
      • But she wins the pageant. She surprised Joey the most which was most important.
    • Marie complaining to Joey about the way he judged the talent show is not cool. I don’t like that.
      • Joey is on the defensive, but he is shifting it around.
    • Joey being low-key even though he is excited is relatable.
    • Okay Madina is right about being skeptical about bringing something up that she didn’t think that was a big deal.
      • Joey is good about asking if she wants to share, and when she doesn’t I get that.
    • KELSEY GET THE GROUP DATE ROSE. WE LOVE THAT!
    • Maria and Sydney fighting at the end of the group date is awkward. But why is she inserting herself into this conversation?
      • Maria talks too much when she gets frustrated and that is tough for this show in particular.
    • I do think that Allison is right that Maria just being bold and some people don’t enjoy that.
  • Jenn gets the one-on-one date
    • Jenn and Joey wore matching clothes. Prolly not on purpose.
    • Is it seven years of bad sex or seven years of bad luck?
      • Emma’s family says back luck but maybe they do the PG version.
    • Ah Jenn and Joey just kissing on the beach. Classic water slash over them
    • This one-on-one date is just going fun.
    • I don’t think I like Jenn’s dress but she is naturally pretty 
    • Well Jenn talking tough about her parents…if she gets hometowns then it will be very interesting 
    • Oh no, dad is gone. 
    • It’s a bit of a drone show for Jenn.
      • Drones to shoot a drone show.
      • IS THIS ANOTHER MICHAEL BOLTON SONG IN THE BACKGROUND OF THIS DRONE SHOW???
        • SURE FUCKING SOUNDS LIKE IT!
        • THE EDITORS LOVE MICHAEL BOLTON, or people who have his voice.
  • Ohhhh we have a tennis date.
    • Will it be competitive or fun?
    • Tennis outfits are a fantasy of his. That was a good line.
    • I have heard of James Blake before.
    • Oh the shooter gun for the tennis balls!
    • What the fuck is the bachelor open?
      • Oh this is actually hilarious.
      • “You’re going down” was an adorable line 
    • I do appreciate we are seeing all the matches
    • The music is ridiculous haha
    • This was a great time on a date. We love this. Great group date. What is going to go wrong during cocktail hour? Something has to.
    • Starr still exists??
    • I love Joey’s green sweater during this cocktail hour.
    • I fucking love Joey. He is fucking adorable.
    • The earring caught on the sweater is actually cute. 
    • Daisy – “Do You Want To Touch It”
      • This is so fucking cut .

    • The fact that Sydney said “Slay” makes me hate her more.
  • We have a pool party instead of a cocktail party.
    • KFC paid a fuck to for that sponsorship. Jesus Christ. How much did they pay??
    • SYDNEY, SHUT THE FUCK UP.
      • Her swimsuit is ugly.
      • And now Sydney is telling Joey is about Maria. It is brutal. 
    • Joey talking to Maria and the silences are rather glaring.
      • Joey lowers his voice when he gets disappointed.
    • Wow. Maria telling Joey how it is with the differences between Sydney and Maria. I think that was a very succinct point from her.
      • Maria came out pretty well in this I think. Joey admits that he is right.
    • SYDNEY SUCKS.
      • There are multiple people saying that nobody is getting bullied.
  • Rose ceremony time
    • The only one I know FOR SURE that is going home is Starr.
    • Down to the last rose and Sydney is for sure going to be getting one because the drama must continue. It has to.
      • Yup, the producers win again. 
    • Charissa is gone. I am very upset. I liked her a lot.

The Bachelor airs on Monday nights on ABC, beginning at 8 PM EST.
