They are getting a little self referential here, aren’t they? Duke Cody (Dave Bautista) literally asks when the murder mystery starts.
I am getting a little bit of The Most Dangerous Game (1932) vibes. Ed Norton’s character of Miles Bron invites this eclectic bunch of people…but based off this trailer…he didn’t expect Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig).
With that being said, Bron has planned an elaborate murder mystery. It is all meant to be a game…that is until someone is actually killed.
This poses a question though. Who is actually killed?
Also, is this kind of a different version of Game Night (2018)?
We see Bron right after the circular pan of Blanc sizing the scene, but that could just be clever editing. Is it Jessica Henwick’s character of Peg, who is the most known actress seen least of all the characters in the trailer?
It is awesome that we don’t know. An air of mystery. Love all of it.
Here are just some other observations I have.
This is the second trailer for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. I doubt that we get a third full trailer. In fact, I don’t want one. Let us have the mystery.
