With all these grumblings, of which there are more, I personally would adopt the Meg 2 off the back alley of terrible films. I would not recommend the movie to anyone with a normal taste pallet for entertainment, but if you are the type who loves to point out the mistakes and soak in the mud, then maybe Meg 2: The Trench is for you.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES BUMBLEBEE NEED TO DIE IN A TRANSFORMERS MOVIE?? JESUS CHRIST.
The viewing experience of the Texas Killing Fields is like eating a canterbury Easter bunny. You look at the film’s IMDB page and it is hard not to get excited. The cast is full of recognizable names and the premise of the story seems bullet-proof. The film is based on a true story and seems to have the appropriate sense of scale. You want to bite into it and be showered in indulgence. However, this viewing adventure ends up being remarkably hollow and begins to crumble when pressure is applied.
Sliver forces the audience to shy away from the screen because of its subject matter and how it goes about illustrating its debaucherous sleazy nature.

Murder Mystery 2 (2023) comes across as if it’s a college student giving an oral presentation after taking enough drugs to cram all prep into one night. If we were to compare everyone involved with the making of Murder Mystery 2 to a hungover senior nearing graduation, the entire crew is quoting the classic “Cs get degrees” mantra.
I never would have thought that I would be tearing up on the train watching a young man desperately pleading with his girlfriend while bleeding out on the floor of a dusty dorm apartment. I never would have thought this character uttering “eat me” would force me to cuddle up in a ball and hide my tear ducts.
The perfect plane movie. Possibly the best plane movie experience I have ever had. The Blackening (2023) is a horror comedy (released in June for some reason) that takes every single horror movie trope about black culture and characters and skewers the expected with laugh-out-loud satirical and oh shit sass-oozing wit.
