Here are stats. I hope they are organized hopefully in an easy way for you guys to reach and understand. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out, call me out, or let me know.

All of these stats are based solely on the regular season. Nothing postseason is included.

Also, there is a margin for error here. I am plugging a lot of this stuff in manually (man I wish I knew how to code information from ESPN directly) so sometimes I miss type numbers. I have some sort of OCD with this stuff but not enough to check every single number, every single time I type it in. So, bear with me.

Bove also did some calculations on his own. Per his own words: “Broke down what would happen if we added the “bonus win” if you were in the top half of scoring.”

RECORD BASED ON MEDIAN SCORE PER WEEK

This is what teams’ record would be based solely on if you have a top-half scoring output of the week, and if you have a bottom-half scoring output of the week.

TEAMRANK BASED ON MEDIAN SCORE PER WEEKDIFFERENCE IN RECORD
1.Eric Sieracki11-38-6 (Third Place)
2.Tim Bove9-512-2 (First Place)
3.Greg Brick9-58-6 (Fourth Place)
4.Gabe Lizarazo8-610-4 (Second Place)
5.Timmy Drakeley7-77-7 (Seventh Place)
6.Andrew Huntley7-75-9 (Ninth Place)
7.Matthew Vaghi7-78-6 (Fifth Place)
8.Jonathan Stanko7-78-6 (Sixth Place)
9.Jack List6-83-11 (Twelfth Place)
10.Justin Michaud5-96-8 (Eighth Place)
11.Billy Drakeley3-115-9 (Tenth Place)
12.Michael Kenney3-114-10 (Eleventh Place)
Eric would be the top dog if the season was addressed this way. Timmy and Andrew would be playoff teams if this is how the standings were handled. There is still a log jam in the middle and points scored being the tiebreaker means that Vaghi and I would be left out. Jack and Huntley would get a big boost, the biggest of anyone, each jumping up three spots.

RECORD BASED ON AVERAGE SCORE PER WEEK

This is what teams’ records would look like based on if you have a score above or below the average score of the week. These records will NOT have an equal number of wins and losses, so do not be alarmed when you notice that.

TEAMRECORD BASED ON AVERAGE SCORE PER WEEKDIFFERENCE IN RECORD
1.Eric Sieracki11-38-6 (Third Place)
2.Tim Bove10-412-2 (First Place)
3.Andrew Huntley10-45-9 (Ninth Place)
4.Greg Brick9-58-6 (Fourth Place)
5.Gabe Lizarazo8-610-4 (Second Place)
6.Matthew Vaghi8-68-6 (Fifth Place)
7.Timmy Drakeley7-77-7 (Seventh Place)
8.Jonathan Stanko7-78-6 (Sixth Place)
9.Justin Michaud5-96-8 (Eighth Place)
10.Jack List5-93-11 (Twelfth Place)
11.Michael Kenney5-94-10 (Eleventh Place)
12.Billy Drakeley4-105-9 (Tenth Place)
Gabe Lizarazo would suffer some harm drooping from second place to fifth place. It is Huntley who would love to have the standings play out based off average because he’d jump up from ninth to third place.โ€‚The bottom three would stay the same, and its Huntley and Gabe who jumble around the most.

RECORD WITH BONUS WINS

Per Bove’s calculations, this is what the records would be for the teams if you combined the traditional record with the median-based record.

TEAMTRADITIONAL RECORDMEDIAN BASED RECORDCOMBINED RECORD (Sorted By)
1.Tim Bove12-29-521-7
2.Eric Sieracki8-611-319-9
3.Gabe Lizarazo10-48-618-10
4.Greg Brick8-69-517-11
5.Matthew Vaghi8-68-616-12
6.Jonathan Stanko8-67-715-13
7.Timmy Drakeley7-77-714-14
8.Andrew Huntley5-98-613-15
9.Justin Michaud6-85-911-17
10.Jack List3-116-89-19
11.Billy Drakeley5-93-118-20
12.Michael Kenney4-103-117-21
It is crazy how there would be no ties if these combined records were a thing. No need for tiebreakers. No need for any of that. Just go straight down the line. Eric and Gabe would flip spots in the playoff picture. Eric would get the bye. Jack would move up a couple slots. Just an interesting thought experiment that actually did spread the log jam out.

3.38, that is all that separated Tim and Gabe as the top scorers in the league.โ€‚Thankfully nothing from a tiebreaker from my perspective because I would be a dead man. Huntley scored the sixth most points and averaged ranking sixth every week. Vaghi’s average weekly rank is better than Drakeley and Huntley, and that would maybe be a hint as to how he is in the postseason and the other two are not.

12.Andrew Huntley1720.60122.90
The two top scoring teams in the league also have the fewest points against. Helps with the recipe for success. Billy and I, both with not great teams also got a ton of luck. Andrew, Jack and Greg all had over 120 points against them per week. Over the course of the season there were only three weeks were the league averaged over 120 points per week. Brick, List and Huntley got that every week.

10.Michael Kenney150.357.50
11.Jonathan Stanko148.758.21
12.Timmy Drakeley140.867.93
Bove runs away with this one. In terms of a full roster, he has the best team by far. His point total and rank are well above Brick who sits in second within this category, respectively. I had the worst team as a roster in terms of ranking, but still averaged more than Timmy. I just had some abhorrent weeks that sunk everything.

QUARTERBACK POINTS SCORED

10.Billy Drakeley16.627.29
11.Timmy Drakeley14.847.71
12.Michael Kenney14.368.21
The haves, and the have nots. Eric and Andrew skipped a grade and passed the tests. Greg, how the hell did you average the third most points but rank 6.39 on average each week? Michael Kenney has the lowest rank and lowest points. Gabe and I are both outside the top six in terms of quarterback scoring.

RUNNING BACK POINTS SCORED

10.Jonathan Stanko27.017.57
11.Jack List22.019.07
12.Billy Drakeley21.269.29
Despite a not great season, Michael Kenney still ranked well in the running back category.โ€‚He scored the second most points per week, but his average rank is actually fifth best. But of an anomaly though. Billy and Jack struggled in this category. The no RB strategy or the top RB strategy doesn’t really apply. Three of the playoff teams are in the top six, but Eric and I are in the bottom four.

WIDE RECEIVER POINTS SCORED

10.Gabe Lizarazo35.447.93
11.Justin Michaud34.587.50
12.Michael Kenney31.378.07
For a team that wasn’t great overall, Billy really raked it in with regards to wide receivers. Interesting that three of the top four in the rankings are not in the playoffs. Actually, four of the top five. Gabe, who is nearly the highest scorer of the league, is tenth in average points from wide receivers and second to last in terms of average weekly ranking.

TIGHT END POINTS SCORED

10.Billy Drakeley7.228.29
11.Michael Kenney6.548.79
12.Andrew Huntley6.368.36
Turns out that having Travis Kelce is good. Good strategy Eric. Gabe averaged nearly two points less than Brick, but they both averaged 4.79 placement each week.

9.Jonathan Stanko7.296.86
10.Jack List6.646.93
11.Michael Kenney5.217.79
12.Greg Brick5.007.79
I will always find it crazy when there is a tie like we have at the bottom of the rankings here. Drakeley averaged the third most points per game but ranks sixth in terms of average ranking….with a 6.00 average rank. Vaghi was the top-dop in terms of best weekly ranking because of Huntley’s Dallas defense vulnerability.

KICKER POINTS SCORED

10.Timmy Drakeley6.506.93
11.Jonathan Stanko6.436.29
12.Justin Michaud5.577.93
Eric and Tim are the top two scorers and they each tied for the best average weekly ranking. Michaud, the kicker position was brutal for you. The only team whose average rank was higher than seven. The only team that average ranked than less six points per game.
