Team Totals After Week 10 Is 1254.03

Total Margin After Week 10 is 309.15

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope that people are primed to enjoy the holiday the best they can. If you are the type to watch football on Thanksgiving, there are three at least somewhat compelling games kicking off on Turkey day. Then there is the Black Friday game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets.

So here is the thing about this Black Friday game. I am actually going to be rooting for the New York Jets because there is a six degrees of Kevin Bacon connection to the new starting quarterback, Mr. Tim Boyle.

I went to school with Timโ€™s sister Amanda Boyle. We were actually friends and did shows together for the mass communication department, and also in our free time. I still have her phone number in my phone. So I am rooting for Mr. Boyle! I am rooting for Boyle happiness. We will probably see her on TV on Friday, and I will be sure to be pointing her out to nobody in my hotel room while I am in Ann Arbor.

Any who. Enjoy the turkey. Enjoy the family. Enjoy the football.

Let’s get going.

WEEK 11 SCOREBOARD

  • The past two weeks I have won my matchups, yet neither output is deserving of a win. This time around I have the ninth most points, and that is only because Lamar Jackson and Jahmyr Gibbs are dynamite players. Also Jayden Reed coming to life for 19.2 points doesnโ€™t hurt. I donโ€™t love now that he is questionable for Thursday.
    • I would personally like to thank Zach Wilson for being the worst quarterback to play in the NFL. If Bove got simply something from Garrett Wilson this game, then I would have lost. Bove had a tone of hope on Monday night because A.J. Brown was invisible on Monday night. Bove is still in the playoffs though, so not all bad things for him.
  • Letโ€™s go Jack!!! Off the snide! Trevor Lawrence is the top scoring quarterback of the week, and Courtland Sutton had some big-time catches on Sunday night to register his fifth straight double-digit scoring game. It is Jackโ€™s first win since week three when he took down Brick, 164.84 to 112.86. It is the first time he broke the 110+ point barrier since week three.
    • Huntley got bit by the injury bug really badly. He got the bite, and then it became infected. Kenneth Walker III left the game early, and Mark Andrews is out for the remainder of the year. Huntley can still make some noise this year with Jaylen Warren substituting in for KW3.
  • Vaghi needed a big win and that is exactly what he got. Saquon Barkley had his best game of the season and his first 20+ point game since week two. Kyler Murray is fun as hell to watch, and while the Cardinals didnโ€™t win, he still put up 21.66 points. Vaghi would never root for injury either, but Cooper Kupp going out meant that Puka Nacua got more attention from Matthew Stafford.
    • Eric battled his ass off with Alvin Kamara and Jonathan Taylor both on a bye. Ty Chandler did his job, but Chuba Hubbard had just 8.5 points. ANd how is this for consistency; Chandler, Mike Evans, Adam Thielen and Travis Kelce all scored in the 15 to 16 point range.
  • Both Timmy and Justin came into this game at 5-5. Following a close game that came down to Monday night, Justin has the bragging rights as of now. Mahomes and DeVonta Smith gave just enough on Monday night for a 121.58 – 115.84 final decision. Smith stole all the points from A.J. Brown who had just one reception.
    • Timmy came up just short, and that can be pulled on two people. I think Nick Folk only scoring two points against Jacksonville is a bit of a shocker. Especially with the Titans needing to resort to two trick plays for touchdowns. Also Najee Harris did nothing against Cleveland. Matt Canada has been fired as the Pittsburgh offensive coordinator, so maybe that will lead to more opportunities?
  • Gabe is rounding into form and it is becoming more than dangerous. Perhaps Calvin Ridley isnโ€™t always reliable, but when he can put up these numbers then everyone has to worry. Devin Singletary has taken the Texans starting job right from Damien Pierce, so what a find. Gabe put forth nearly 150 points without T.J. Hockenson getting double-digit points, and Rachee Rice forgetting to catch passes like the rest of the Chiefs wide receiver corps.
    • Greg Brick resides in eighth place as I am writing this, but his team is so much better than that. He had the third most points this week, but it wasnโ€™t enough. Brutal beat. Tyreek Hill had 30.6 points in the loss, and George Kittle went off for 22.9 points. Maybe Greg could have expected more from Travis Etienne Jr. who scored only 8.9 points.
  • Billy Drakeley gets himself out of last place with a resounding 110.78 to 64.64 victory of Michael Kenney. Jordan Love rose to the challenge and played great against the Chargers. Joe Mixon made the most without Burrow, and DK Metcalf scored his first touchdown since week four. All things combined at just the right time.
    • Tough week for Michael Kenney. The only skill position player to score double figures was Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers with 10.2 points. HIs highest scorer was Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass with 15.0 points.

  • Eric got fucked out of what should have been a win with the fourth highest score of the week.
  • Somehow I didnโ€™t lose despite having the second fewest wide receiver points.
  • Kenney now has the most worst weeks in the following categories: Points Scored, Full Team Points, Points Compared To Projected, and Defense D/ST Points.
    • I donโ€™t want to file on Kenneyโ€ฆbut over the last two weeks, Michael has ranked bottom two 16 times out of 22 changes in the respective statistical categories.
  • Timmyโ€™s stretch as the top scorer in the league ends at three weeks. Timmy ranked seventh in scoring in week 11.
  • Vaghi has ranked top three in scoring in four of the last five weeks.
  • Gabe ranked first in scoring for the first time in week 11. That is a bit of a shocker.
    • He has out performed his projected point the best two weeks in a row.

WEEK 12 MATCHUPS

  • Pretty big game here between Gabe and I. Gabe is one game out of potentially taking over first place and winning the regular season title. I need to keep winning to stay above the fray of tiebreakers. I need Cooper Kupp to remember who he is, but he needs to be healthy to do that. Can Gabe rely on C.J. Stroud and Devin Singletary from Houston in a huge division game?
    • A rematch of week one where Gabe absolutely wrecked me, 115.76 – 68.96. Gabe got nearly 50 points from Deshaun Watson and Christian McCafftey, and that was a good enough jump to murder me.
  • Jack is playing spoiler here, hoping to ensure that Eric has absolutely no chance at a bye. With that being said, Eric seems to hold all the cards. Jack is probably without Aaron Jones. Jack would need to have potentially the biggest upset of the season to really make an impact.
    • A rematch of week one where Jack beat Eric worse than Gabe beat me. The final was 122.94 – 53.94. Eric 0.9 points combined from Antonio Gibson, Rashaad Penny, and Tee Higgins. List had 56.4 points from just his running backs.
  • I am not sure if Huntley is still reading these because every time he may want to smash the computer screen. His high potential team getting hurt (no Kenneth Walker III and Mark Andrews) is good news for Timmy is competing for a playoff spot.
    • Huntley opened the regular season with a 122.1 to 82.16 win over Timmy. The Dallas Cowboys scored 35.0 points for Huntley. One of three times this season where Dallas scored more than 20 points.
  • HUGEEEE matchup between Vaghi and Brick. Vaghi is currently the fifth seed, but that lead is slim.ย  Greg is hoping to have a feast filled Thanksgiving with lots of food and lots of fantasy football points. Granted, he only wants points in the Dallas game, and he wants nothing to happen in the Detroit game against Green Bay. Amon-Ra St. Brown will set the tone.
    • Brick emerged victorious in week one over Vaghi, 113.42 – 90.54. Brick was aided by Tyreek Hill scoring 45.5 points. Made up for bad performances from his QB, TE and flex spots.
  • Michael Kennney, like Jack List, is playing the spoiler role. Can Kenney keep Michaud out of the playoffs? A win here would be a setback for team Charlestown Chiefs, without a doubt.
    • Michaud opened the season with a week one win over Kenney, 115.24 – 101.28. MIchael Kenney got fucked with Joe Burrow scoring just 3.18 points. Michaud was able to coast with Austin Ekeler being great with his season-best 27.4 points.
  • A third spoiler matchup of the week. Bove doesnโ€™t want to have a losing streak for the first time this season. A loss here may potentially kick him out of the top spot in the league. Billy get to unleash Justin Jefferson for the first time in a long time, and that may bring a slight bit of fear into Boveโ€™s heart.
    • The final week one rematch is Billy attempting to avenge a 125.46 to 102.56 loss to Bove. Mark Andrews zero points? No problem for Bove. Billy was starting Daniel Jones at this point. Oh how times have changed.

TEAMS ON A BYE: None, because I guess it is Thanksgiving. Everyone has to play this weekend.

STANDINGS

  • Mr. Timothy Bove has clinched himself a playoff spot. He is the first to do so. He was able to so despite suffering the loss.
  • The top four remain unchained after the events of week 11.
  • Vaghi moves up from sixth to fifth, and Michaud moved up from eighth to sixth.
  • Timmy Drakeley dropped out of the playoff picture with his lost to Michaud.
  • Brick fell down from seventh to eighth position.
  • There was no change for Huntley or Billy, but Kenney now occupies the last place position and List is the lucky one no longer in last place.
  • The majority of people are tight in the battle for points and a tiebreaker, but there is a sever dropoff between Brick and then myself. If things happen and I find myself in need of a tiebreaker, then I am a dead man.
  • Gabe is living in the best of both worlds with the most points scored and the least amount of points against.
