I loved The Reacher season one on Amazon Prime. It triggered the inner dad-TV show switch in my brain. The show has everything I need. It has a lead who defies authority and works his ass off till the job is done. This same lead character speaks his mind but does it in few words, cutting to the core with sass and wits.
The idea of multiple identities or personality is hammered home in the final moments of the trailer when Fassbender is staring into a mirror and stating “Hey.”
Enzo Ferrari (Adam Driver) is in trouble, and is seemingly having an identity crisis while also trying to save the family business from falling into irrelevant bankruptcy.
This second preview of the infamous and world-changing French man plays a lot more towards a populous audience, highlighting large scale military set pieces and an immediately recognizable popular rock song as its music bed. This trailer is fast-paced, punching the audiences with director Ridley Scott’s accomplishments and the award prowess of its two main stars.
The tried & true romantic comedy formula of putting two incredibly attractive people in the movie and letting them ooze sexual chemistry has its latest installment.
Let’s get out in front of this. Austin Butler is one sexy mother fucker, and the James Dean persona he is bringing to The Bikeriders (2023) is not fair to the rest of the male population.
My first question: “Are we supposed to care?”
First things first. If your trailer is 3:42 then your trailer is too long. It is WAY too long. Second thing is that I know my thoughts on this trailer are incredibly late. Still I never really dove in, so now I am diving in.
